Many of the properties in the city of Charleston have walls around the entire property with ornate gates.

I enjoy looking at the designs of wrought iron. Here are some of my favorite ones.

The light was embedded in the design.
This gate was to a lovely cemetery.
There was a lovely garden behind this one.

I loved this music lyre design most of all.

      1. 😂🤣😂. A few times one of the tour guides recognized me and let me actually move some furniture out of the way for special shots. Of course we put it exactly back, and no one saw us or the tour guide.

        During Covid I shot several of the houses, Aiken-Rhett, Manigault, Hayward Washington, and some churches for the three counties making up greater Charleston. They were put together as a series of slide shows for the school districts because they could not go on fields trips. 😃😃
