I am always on the lookout for some fun fungi.
One of my favorites is the Indigo Milky Cap mushroom, Lactarius indigo.
I think they are lovely.
The inside and sap are true indigo blue.
These show up under our oaks in the fall.
This one has a distorted shape. It is rubbery and tough. I never eat wild mushrooms. I love my liver.

Interesting, you should be careful touching mushrooms you don’t know the ID of, some are so poisonous just touching them and then touching food or your mouth could cause huge problems.
