I have watched crows walking in snow many times this winter.

They walk along the ground and sometimes bend over. I wondered if they were poking around for food.

I saw one walk across the road and peck at the asphalt. Was it eating snow?

Later I found these three sets of tracks on my patio.

All I know is, crows walk in snow.

I think the crow’s written language is coming along!

Rebecca, I watch the crow family here every day. If there was a bird to invent writing, it would be crows. They are smart and communicate. Fascinating behaviors and sounds.

Yes, we have a murder (flock) here in our neighborhood. They keep me company sometimes as I garden.

We have two groups on two different mountain peaks. You know when one group gets too close. Wow is it loud!
