I am glad I made it home in time to see the Professor Sargent Camellia japonica in full bloom.

These flowers have an unusual bouquet quality due to the two-tiered arrangement of petals.

  1. Such Magnificent blooms…. A garden near us has one in a similar red, their bush is half size of their house height.

    Every year, we admire it from our window view.
    No wonder this one is called Professor Sargent. It’s definitely a cut above the rest. šŸ’ā™„ļø
