There is a lovely courtyard at the rehab facility where my mama is getting physical therapy after breaking her hip.
My favorite resident in the garden is an anole. He enjoys sunning on the warm head of a statue there.
Nature saves my sanity.

My favorite lizard. I also spent a lot of time with my Dad in a facility across the country away from my family for a month at a time. It isn’t easy.

The Anole have become full time residents on my porch again this year. They make decent company, never disagreeable, and rarely make a break for an open door.

I have many lizards at my house also.
This anole is a like a bit of home. I am always happy to see him.
