This Creeping Fig vine ( Ficus pumila) has kept growing through the winter.
My guess is that the block wall has kept it warm.
It is hardy to 10 degrees Fahrenheit.
I am happy to see its new copper-colored leaves in February.
I love this little creeper.

I love creeping fig too. Just be sure to keep it trimmed otherwise you get big leaves and gnarly branches.

Thanks for this tip. Winter usually trims it for me. Do I cut it down to the ground?

A pretty vine. I once saw one that had almost completely taken over a greenhouse in CT. It felt like something out of Middle Earth!
