The Orange Perfection Phlox is blooming despite the heat.

It loves to lean on the rocks and dangle its blooms.

My little friend seems to like it also.

Sweet little bouquets, just chipmunk size.

Here is that color again. Orange, but not orange.
I think the pink eye plays tricks on the human eye.
The name on the tag is ‘Orange Perfection’ garden phlox by Garden Rich.
It does not stand up straight like some phlox or creep along on the ground like other phlox.
It reclines on the rocks.
I like the contrast between the orange and gray.
I like its cascading to soften the rock edges.
I got this right by accident. Phlox on the rocks serendpity.

I am finally seeing blooms from my ‘Orange Perfection’ garden phlox.
It has been here for two seasons.
I guess my cheap self shocked it by dividing it into six plants before planting it last spring.
I am pleased with the color. It’s a lovely salmon with a magenta eye.
The stems are a bit floppy, but I like how it leans on the rocks and peeks over.
I am happy with them. They are the perfect orange.
