Bunny Secrets Revealed

You remember that I wondered whether the secrets whispered between these two were going to involve them digging a hole or hiding from me.   They did both!

Charlotte is the main digger and bulldozer. It is amazing to watch her push dirt away from the hole.

Later, I checked on them.  I could not find Charlotte anywhere.  Only Barley.  He kept peering down into the hole.  I was almost frantic until I realized that,  Charlotte was deep down inside the hole.IMG_0133

When she finally emerged.  A shovel blade was used to cover the opening until the hole could be filled.  Those tricky rabbits!

Evidence of a Stalker

While searching through my many files for a certain photo,

I noticed a disturbing trend.

Someone has been using my camera to take hundreds of photos of a certain two individuals.

There are pictures of them eating, lounging, cuddling and even using the toilet.

What was even more disturbing is that there is an inordinate number of closeups of their backsides.

Whoever is doing this is obviously obsessed with these two and has a booty fetish.

I am looking into the issue and gathering evidence.

I am pretty sure I know who the perpetrator is, but I won’t divulge her identity.

Poor Charlotte has gone through another false pregnancy.

This second round lacked the crazy fervor of last spring’s nesting.

There has been less fur pulling and growling.

Barley has been allowed inside the nest for napping.

I have sent them both out on this windy day to clean up the nest.

It was built behind the carriers under a table.

I will be putting a cleaner version back in that spot with timothy hay and rags.

I hope I did not clean up the nest too soon. There was quite a bit of spying going on through the window during the cleaning.

Another little critter is nesting. This Chickadee was very pleased to pluck hair from the rabbit rugs that were hanging out for airing.
