Okay. I know these are not the same caterpillars as last year.
Those are long gone as Fritillary butterflies.
I grow these wild Passion vines just for them.
I have been inspecting the leaves for weeks.
I was beginning to get concerned.
Then they appeared.
Large and small. Over and under. Here and there.
Just like always.
I love them with a Passion.

Beautiful flower and great that you have a balance with the wildlife in your garden.

You must have found the right spot for the wild passion flowers. I have tried, but they want to grow out in the wild.

Try again. Full sun. There are hybrids that might work better. I have a red that is 2 stories tall. I will blog on it this week. I could try to mail you a cutting in October. ?

I do grow the hybrids. Thank you, but I have many growing on the greenbelt behind my house. They seem to like it there better and I just need to pop outside my fence to see them.

Wild things grow where they grow, don’t they?
I have tried to save wild plants in harms way. I am always joyful when they survive the move.
