This chime has a ghost
My cousin who left us
and took with him sunshine and laughter and love.
And left behind darkness.
A shadow
of where he used to be
in our family.

No worries. You know grief. You can’t just forget them. He is missed.

I am sorry as well, very evocative of how you are feeling.

It has been a year and a half since he died. His chimes keep me remembering him. That’s a good thing, although sad.

Agreed, my oldest brother passed almost 3 years ago and his gifted vases keep me remembering – though I am sure he would like it that I use them and think of him, it makes me smile before I cry.

My mom died nearly two years ago. She also haunts a chime in my garden (or at least it’s hers to haunt if she chooses and I hope that she does.)

My sister says that her chime of his chimes when the wind is not blowing. We like to think of it as Mark saying hello.
